Cachaça is a sugarcane spirit produced in Brazil. It is characterized by a raw, vegetal, fruity taste with subtle sweetness. Whereas most rums are often aged in used bourbon or sherry barrels, aged cachaça is typically rested in native woods, which impart a unique favor proile.
